How to Get More Traffic:

A Free Training Workshop

Welcome to today's training on how to get more traffic.

We’re going to dive deep into effective strategies to capture and convert traffic.

This workshop is focused on organic methods, and I’ll show you the exact framework I use.

Let’s get started!

The Three-Step Traffic Framework

Traffic is like the ocean.

You don’t create the ocean—you capture it.

It’s already flowing, and you just need to channel it in your direction.

The three-step framework for getting traffic:

1. Get in front of other people’s audiences.

2. Make yourself known.

3. Form meaningful connections.

This strategy is simple, but it works.

Let me explain each step in detail.

Step 1: Get in Front of Other People’s Audiences

You don’t need to reinvent the wheel.

Find where your audience already hangs out.

Facebook groups, YouTube channels, Instagram, or other platforms your target market is engaging with.

Once you’ve identified those places, participate actively.

Provide value, answer questions, and engage in discussions.

This is how you begin to get in front of people who don’t know you yet.

Step 2: Make Yourself Known

Once you’ve got their attention, it’s important to stand out.

Your profile should clearly communicate who you are and what you offer.

For example, your Facebook profile banner should include a clear call-to-action (CTA) and tell people what you do.

Don’t overwhelm with multiple links—keep it simple.

Step 3: Form Meaningful Connections

Engagement is key.

Comment on people’s posts in a way that adds value.

Make your responses detailed and helpful, and space them out so they are easy to read.

Always respond thoughtfully with no expectation of immediate return.

People will notice you over time and start reaching out.

Relationships matter more than transactions.

Facebook Banner Optimization for Traffic

Since Facebook Organic marketing is how I started, I wanted to give you a breakdown of creating that Facebook Organic Marketing Funnel.

One of the simplest but most effective ways to channel traffic is by optimizing your Facebook profile banner.

Here’s how to set up your banner for maximum impact:

  • Clear Call-to-Action (CTA) - Your banner should include a clear call-to-action that speaks directly to your ideal customer. Tell them exactly what to do, whether it’s visiting your website, downloading a free resource, or sending you a message.
  • Simple Design - Don’t overcrowd your banner with too much information or graphics. Keep it clean and focused on one specific offer or message.
  • Easy-to-Remember Link - Include a short, easy-to-type URL that directs people to your main funnel or lead magnet. Avoid including multiple links—just one is enough to guide them in the right direction.
  • Consistency - Make sure the messaging on your banner aligns with the rest of your profile and content. Everything should clearly communicate who you are, what you do, and how you can help.

Bonus Tip: If you're active in multiple Facebook groups, you can customize your banner for different groups. Tailor it to the specific audience you’re engaging with in that specific group for a more personalized touch

With a well-optimized banner, every visitor to your profile is immediately funneled toward the next step, whether that’s signing up for your email list, joining a webinar, or contacting you directly.

The Big Panda Story:

A Case Study on Meaningful Connections

To show you how powerful this three-step framework can be, let me tell you a personal story—what I like to call the “Big Panda Story.”

Back in 2019, a man named Robert (nicknamed Big Panda) posted in a ClickFunnels Facebook group.

His post was simple.

He was asking for a mentor to help him navigate some issues with his funnels.

I saw his post, and instead of replying publicly, I decided to reach out to him directly in a private message.

The message was short and to the point:

"Hey Robert, how are you? I saw your post in the ClickFunnels group about needing help. If you want, we can hop on a Zoom call and chat about it."

To my surprise, he replied right away.

We set up a Zoom call, and I spent a couple of hours talking through his business challenges and sharing some ideas.

After the call, I went a step further—I created a personalized 17-minute video for Robert, breaking down additional strategies that I thought could help him.

I didn’t stop there.

I also wrote a detailed document outlining tips, resources, and suggestions based on our conversation.

The result?

Robert didn’t end up becoming my client directly, but something better happened.

Robert introduced me to someone in his network who needed help with their business.

That person became my first major client, paying me $2,000 for my consulting services.

A few months later, Robert referred me to another project, where I built a Shopify store for a second client.

That was the beginning of my freelance business.

All from one connection.

The Lesson from the Big Panda Story

The story of Big Panda is proof that you don’t always know where or how your breakthrough will happen.

You just need to make meaningful connections.

By getting in front of the right people, making yourself known, and genuinely offering value, doors will open for you.

It might not happen right away, but if you focus on building relationships, the results will come.

My Traffic Journey

Here’s a quick roadmap of my traffic journey:

  • Facebook Organic Traffic – I started by engaging in other people’s Facebook groups.
  • Zoom Calls and Referrals – I offered free Zoom consultations, leading to word-of-mouth referrals.
  • Email List Building – I grew my list through various lead magnets and content marketing.
  • YouTube Channel – Organic content creation on YouTube played a major role.
  • Facebook Paid Advertising – After solidifying my organic strategy, I began using paid ads effectively.

I started with Facebook Organic and did free Zoom calls.

For MONTHS.

These did not start at the same time.

The message here is there is a sequence and a growth that follows.

Repurpose Your Content

If you’re answering questions on social media, save those responses.

Keep a Google Doc or spreadsheet with your answers, so you can reuse that content for blog posts, YouTube videos, or newsletters.

This helps you maximize your time and creates a consistent flow of content.

This is the one thing I wish I did better and more often.

Be Consistent:

Mindset and Expectations

Traffic doesn’t come overnight.

It takes time, effort, and a lot of trial and error.

You will get better with practice.

Don’t get discouraged if results are slow at first—it’s all part of the journey.

The key is consistency.

Commit to engaging with new people daily.

Even if it's just two people per day, by the end of the year, you could be reaching hundreds.

Final Thoughts

This strategy works for coaches, consultants, course creators, and service providers alike.

Focus on building genuine relationships, and the traffic will follow.

Don’t get caught up in vanity metrics like followers—focus on serving your audience.

Traffic is all about making meaningful connections.

Remember, get in front of other people’s audiences, make yourself known, and build relationships.
