Here is a 43 minutes free training and step-by-step checklist:

  • Keyword research for 1 keyword you’re gonna target

  • Label the MP4 video file with the keyword that you chose

  • Label the thumbnail file + inside the thumbnail

  • Title the video with the keyword at the front of the title

  • Add relevant tags using SEO Studio, use them all up if you catch and make them centred around the main keyword directly

  • Add a # that is relevant to the keyword

  • Add SEO optimized description Add 2-4 cards throughout the video, ideally in places that are relevant and related videos

  • Add end-cards with subscribing to your channel + next video from your own channel

  • After posting, leave a comment with a CTA or engagement question and pin it

Wanted to share with you a bonus training of recording a YouTube video from A to Z, over the shoulder, but first, some extra tips:

  • Record the video AFTER the keyword research so that you can say the keyword several times in the first 30 seconds

  • Give them a reason to stick around to the end, especially if a longer video (hook)

  • Indicate during/throughout the video about XYZ video you have done to cover it in more detail, so it’s matching the cards

  • Give a CTA to leave a comment, like, subscribe
